I have a UK Supra, had the HKS SSQV dumping atmospherically, it sounded good but was really messing with the running of my car. So I removed it after C.W advised me to and the car ran fine again!

If I used the recirc kit, would this correct the issues related to the MAF sensor etc, has anyone on here done this, any problems, and what does it sound like, surely with the recirc fitted the sound is dampened (defeating the object in some respects).

Cheers!

Don't know the answer, but if it doesn't work and you want to sell the SSQV, give me a shout...

The recirc kit should cure it as it will be seeing the correct amount of air at the MAF again.

Yes your right with the recirc kit the sound will be definitely dampened. But hey, the sound of a quiet dump valve has to beat the sound of a knackered turbo! :p

If I used an SAFC2 would this alleviate the problem associated with the MAF sensor on the UK spec? The I could regain the delighful sounds of my HKS and up the boost on my hybrids to 1.3 bar at the same time?
