It was indeed us, our cars looked a little worse for wear at that point though!

We drove down as far as Monte Carlo, stayed near to Lake Como, drove the Swiss passes before moving to the ring via the Porsche factory. We got back to the UK yesterday after watching a night race at Spa.

I did clock the other black single turbo supra with the BGW. It looked and sounded fantastic.

How many miles did you end up doing then Josh?

A tad under 2700 miles into total Dean, we had quite a long first and last day, but plenty of rest days in between.

Yeah, with the thinner air at altitude I think some of the cars were over fuelling which caused the smoke and in turn contaminated the oil. I dropped and changed mine as a precaution when I got to the ring.

I did, it was my first ever time to/around the ring and I lapped in 10.35.

All in all, the car performed flawlessly. It ate up the miles, was comfortable but performed when I wanted it:)

Its a great trip out there, glad you all had a good time and all made it back home safely..........

Tip for next year, take a drive down to Cochem and do the boat trip when the ring is closed........theres one boat that goes up the river and through the locke, fantastic engineering and a great experience....

Ah good stuff! Did you take it round the track?

It was my first time around but me and my friends usually do a yearly trip, I think next year we will be extending the trip as one of our friends went off and did a grand tour of europe afterwards which looked epic...Just not sure if I can hack driving the Supra for much longer than 9 hours.
