I'd want to see what type of cap it is and how the coolant returns back to the rad, does the feed pipe go down inside the tank to near the bottom.

If it doesn't it wont work and if the cap is pressurised it wont work

Will ask the question. If i had a spare OEM rad cap would that solve the issue for the pressure?

It doesn't want to be pressurised, the stock unit just has a press on plastic cap and a breather tube to let air in and out of the tank

I've drawn on the how the tube from the cap would look inside the tank

Would the standard expansion pipe fit on a normal rad cap fitting? Just a thought if you could use that it would solve the cap and pipe issue.
