I promise this to be the last ICE related thread from ME for a while. :looney:

After spending hours and hundreds of pounds on my cars install I have found the only orginal item of equipment is faulty. :(
I need to buy a new*Multi-CD Player but unfortunately the old CD changer wires will need to be used as adding new wires through the custom boot build and headunit will be impossible. Also the new CD changer will need to be as close to my old units dimensions so it can fit into the build hole.
The old unit is a Pioneer CDX-M12.
The nearest equivalent unit I can find is the Pioneer CDX-P1270 which is also approximately the same size (257 x 94 x 170*mm).
Can you PLEASE tell me if the CDX-P1270 uses the same wire harness as the old CDX-M12 or can you get an adapter.
The old wire harness consists of two plugs.
A yellow power in-line 3 pin plug and the main black in-line 6 pin plug
