View Full Version : Is it possible to modify your stock springs?
I am thinking of lowering my car with Eibach Prokit springs. But had a thought-- Is it possible to lower the car say by about 20mm in the front by doing some mod to the current stock springs? If so how can this be done? Are there any negatives to doing this? I just want max of 20mm!:)

Not safetly. Buy some fully height adjustable coilovers and do the job properly.
Yeah no problem ........ just get yourself an angle grinder and cutting disc. You might even be able to do it with out removing the strut:baa:

Springs are the cheapest tuning item in the world, just buy a good matched set and ... bingo.

And don't forget to balance your corner weights.
