View Full Version : Exhaust compatibility
I currently have a straight through ARC Titan exhaust system fitted and I want to change the rear silencer for something a little less restrictive and slightly louder. I was wondering if a different make of rear silencer will bolt onto the end of the ARC piping i.e is it a standard connection or will each brand of exhaust have it's own fitting?
Does anyone have any photos of the connecting bracket on the rear of a Blitz Nurspec and HKS silencer they could send me please?
cheers
Nic, if ARC do a back box only version of the Titan then I would guess it is a standard fitting for the Supra...ie it would have to be able to connect to the stock exhaust.
Can you confirm that?
Hi Alex
ARC only do the full system.
So are all the branded exhausts with a rear silencer only option compatible with the stock Toyota front exhaust section?
The ARC piping is 80cm diameter, will I need to get a rear silencer that is also 80cm, or would a larger pipe fit eg. 90 or 95cm?
The Blitz Nurspec has 80cm piping and can be bought as just the silencer, does anyone know if this will fit onto the OEM Toyota piping, if it does then I just need to check if the ARC bracket is the same.
Any help would be appreciated,
Cheers
80cm diameter......Holy Cow!!!!!!!
You running the sewage pipe version there Nic ????
Sorry can't help with your problem......but the thought of an 80cm diameter exhaust pipe........

Cat back system complete will be safer, i reckon the ARC may well use different flange style / size / position to other stuff. Haven't any pics and the 3 MKIV's here all have stock sytems. I am getting a new Super Dragar in later today or tomorrow hopefully can photo that, on and off a car if it helps.
Hi Chris
That would be great if you could.
cheers
