Hi guys, sorry if this is in the wrong section, i wasn't sure if it should be in the for sale bit.

Ive not quite decided yet, but im thinking of selling my N reg 96, J-Spec TT manual and i was just wondering how much you would say i could get for it? ive had it since 2003 on a fresh import and its got full service history over the 13 years ive had it. If its needed anything ive always had it done. Its currently got 204,000 miles on the clock. Its just had a fresh respray in black, everything working perfectly apart from the air con needed a regas and a few leds on the dash for the heater need replacing. Its more or less standard, apart from a couple bits.

Thankyou. Its a lovely car.

The clock had 51,000 (i think) when i first picked it up, the garage i bought it from said the kms had been converted into miles but thats going on their word.

Assuming it is around 200.000 miles, I would stick it up for around £11k, expect to get around £10k, or a bit less if you need a quick sale.

An equivalent car with average miles would be worth maybe £14k at the moment :)

If you haven't already, I'd put a folder of receipts together which documents all the work done and parts fitted over the years of ownership.

If I was considering buying a Supra now I would spend money getting an independent specialist to check the vehicle over thoroughly. I would want to see it on a ramp to check underneath for rust, check all the suspension components, brakes, engine compression/leak down test, ancillaries, etc. Basically I'd want to know what I was spending £10K+ on was in good sound working order and there were no hidden problems.

I got independent inspections done on 2 supras before getting Abzs and those inspections were the best decision I ever made. Saved me from some bad rust!!

Yea ive got all of the bills, service sheets MOTs etc all together, its always been serviced at the same garage, when i mentioned it to them they said they wouldn't have any problem talking to potential buyers through all that they've done over the years. I would more than welcome an independent inspection. Thats if i sell of course :D

I'm confused. There have been so many threads saying tt manuals are 16k+ in the UK. Isn't 10k a low figure then even with that mileage?

An average facelift 6 speed would be £15k+, a vvti or UK spec even more. A pre facelift would probably be £13k-£15K.

But even though we know Supras are good for high miles, any 200k mile car will always suffer in value.
