Hi people,
I'm wondering who has found a decent place to sit their i-pod and be able to change tracks easily enough as i've had enough of it sitting on my centre consol next to my elbow with the FM transmitter sitting in the ashtray!

I have searched around and cant find what im looking for, not sure if it exists yet - a system which means the i-pod is hidden away in the glovebox or armrest, wired to the headunit for decent sound quality (with no fm transmission frequencies to play with) and a touch screen monitor in the headunit position to operate as usual!
I need to get the road angel2 hard wired in to free up the cigarette lighter to stop draining the i-pod battery until its sorted, i hate wires!
Anyone found a decent solution?
Cheers in advance,
Gary

Easy task :)

www.alpine.com

they offer a special IPOD dock which works perfect.

I have seen it and talked to some people who really like it.

Currently I cant decide if I will take this route or get a car PC which would make an ipod useless for the car.

But first I will have to get the MR2 out of the garage and a supra in ;)

I've got the alpine fitted to my D900R. It works well, the only trouble with the D900. it doesn't seem to go past 256 folders, but if you use play list, you can get around this.
