Running An Auto Belt Tensioner On A Manual?

Hi have done some looking into but can't find anything with a straight up answer regarding experience ect.

Can an auto TT tensioner be used on a manual eliminating the shock arm.

From what I have read the shock arm is there due to manual gear changes are less smooth than the auto changes helping the tension remain tight.

Has anyone ran a TT auto tensioner on a manual before?

Thanks

Paul

Lol..

Well i have a billet arm. And im struggling to find a Spare manual arm. What im thinking is use the auto arm i have spare while my arm gets polished. so will run it for a week or so with the auto arm

How ever if the car will run just as good without the the tension bar id rather the tidier look...
