Getrag Posted February 13, 2005 Share Posted February 13, 2005 I was driving along today and started to notice this very annoying knock at the back left corner. The boot rubbers are shot so I assumed it was just this. Anyway, it got worse, so I had a little look at the exhaust and it was hanging a bit low.....and bouncing against the bodywork going around corners. The little metal bracket holding it on was cracked at the bottom. Anyway, I tied it up tight with some rope to go and get petrol.....got back and the bracket was gone! Lucky I had done it or it would have been bouncing along the ground. Its got about a mile of rope around it now So....I take it this isnt a job for kwick-shaft, I'll have to get a garage to weld on a new bracket?
