UK brakes

Jesus! I had around £1000-1200 in my head.

Seems a lot initially but absolutely worth doing. I've had mine done very recently and would now say the larger brakes are twice as good as the smaller ones ! :) For a car that produces so much power (especially a stock twin turbo!) and ability to reach the speeds it does that quickly...I would say upgrading the brakes to the larger ones is possibly the most important upgrade to do.

47730-14270 CYLINDER ASSY, REAR DISC BRAKE, RH x 1

47750-14280 CYLINDER ASSY, DISC BRAKE, REAR LH x 1

04948-14010 FITTING KIT, DISC BRAKE, REAR x 1

04466-14040 PAD KIT, DISC BRAKE, REAR x 1

42431-14150 DISC, REAR x 2

04946-14030 SHIM KIT, ANTI SQUEAL(FOR REAR DISC BRAKE) x 1

That's everything you'll need for the conversion front and rear, you'll either need to trim the edge off the smaller dust shields or cut them off completely. Note the front discs are handed left and right, the rear discs are the same part number both sides. I've included the anti squeal shims but you don't really need them, you get better feel without and with the stock pads the brakes don't squeal.

Get used and rebuild with chris wilsons pistons. Well worth it

The trouble is used UK spec calipers sell for too much money so by the time you've rebuilt them your not

going to be too far off what you can buy brand new for.

A set of CW'S pistons will cost you £270 + seals

Stock big brakes are the next upgrade I've got planned. Replace the front and rear at the same time to keep brake balance as intended, then take a really good look at the suspension. No point making it look good and go fast if you can't stop it :D
