LED/SMD VS Incandescent

I got SMDs in my reverse. I wouldn't bother with anything else on the rears apart from stock bulbs due to the double filament being better than 2 types of led/smd in 1. Plenty of vids on youtube. With sidelights on, you really cant tell when brake is applied. Could probably stick a SMD in the indicator, but it would be mega annoying for other drivers.

They will bring on the light out warnings on the dash, you can remove the bulb.

Indicators will make the indicators flash too quickly.. you can fit a LED indicator relay to solve that though.

If the LED's are cheap you can get flashing whilst the lights are off (as LED's build up the current which can still be on the circuit) where as a filament type bulb would just do nothing.
