anyone with quite a bit of audio knowledge.
Had my original ICE setup installed for 3-4months piccies can be seen in link from my signature, basically.
1 x Rock Fosgate amp for the sub and 2 x Alpine V12 MRV407's for components throughout car.
All worked fine off my head unit, however I've taken out the head unit and fitted my in car PC unit.
I'm running a USB external sound card which plugs into the PC via a USB port I put in the boot. I've taken 1 pair of RCA outs from the sound card which goes into my Audio Control Matrix line driver. The line driver outputs (via bridging jumpers) to all 3 pairs of RCA outputs and can boost the output voltage to max 14v per pair of RCA outputs (i've set the voltage to approx 3volts which seems to be the right level). These outputs are then feeding my amps.
Problem: Getting background noise / interference which Ive never had a problem with until using the PC system / sound card?? Cant be the cables as they are top notch as you would expect and power / signal are run apart...
Any ideas before I go and buy a higher quality sound card for hundreds of pounds?
Also looking at an Equilizer unit.. Not sure if I need one as all the amps have built in adjustable crossovers plus the PC can control sound output via software
Input would be good if you can....
