You can just about make it out in the pic below. It lit up red on ignition, and turned white when running.

 

I toyed with building an electronic lock, using a solenoid with a bar, that would locate in the factory hole. And would work via the arm/disarm of the alarm. I never got around to finishing it, as I wasn't clever enough!

That does look good!! shame you never got round to sorting the lock. You thinking of doing push button in your Supra?

Nice little feature, I just never saw the point in it. Whats wrong with just using a key? It's part of the niceness of older cars for me.

 

True, i suppose it's a case of trying these things out. Ive kept everthing in tack in case I sell the car etc.
