Gauging Interest in my NA-5 Speed SZ.

Hi all I am writing this with doubt in my mind but I need to gauge some interest.

As I'm sure most of you will know this is my MKIV Supra SZ 5 speed. She has been an ongoing project for the last 5 years and has been a superb car, and by far the best I have ever owned.

Link to build thread- Everything has been documented though my ownership so get to reading if your a serious buyer.

The Car is an L-Reg SZ which was near stock, when purchased from Tourque GT in devon, after the previous owner (JonC) on here traded it for his vvti TT.

The car has been well loved and I have spent somewhere in the region of 20k on this to get it to where it stands now. Mechanical parts such as, Water pump, thermostat, viscous fan clutch, Radiator (TT auto varient), all brake callipers, pad, shims, rear disks, coilovers, cam belt, tensioner, aux belt tensioner etc etc (the list goes on) have been swapped for brand new OEM items, all of which have receipts, and other parts such as exhaust, decats, ECU, LSD, interior have been swapped for VGC used parts.

I have a clip folder full to the brim with history on the car and the ONLY reason I'm considering selling is due to finding a TT6 which I would like to rebuild over the next few years.

The car is dry stored in a garage, and used as a toy, but for the first 3 years of ownership was my daily driver so the underside is in good condition but starting to show her age.

The mileage currently sits at just over 100.000Km's but will increase slightly as I still use it at weekends and for Shows.

The car has built up quite a reputation for itself, and as a result Last year, was chosen to be the NA to represent us, as a Club at the prestigious NEC Classic Car motor Show, and the car was very well received, a Show which it will be returning to again this year Mid November.

Price- £7500 OVNO. (Without the diffuser, alloys and steering wheel) The Alloys would be replaced with refurbed Jade-R's and the steering wheel replaced with a stock 3 spoke.

If you disagree with the price please keep it to yourself and off the thread, the car has had stupid money spent on it and IMO is very well set up.

The car had a full engine oil and diff oil, brake pad, brake fluid, change earlier in the year and has just had a Geometry set-up completed again.

The last thing for this is, that as I mentioned above, the car is at the NEC motor Show November 12th-15th so the car will be ready to go after then. However If I can get a serious buyer before then who is willing to put a deposit on the car she can be ready for collection any when after this date. And I will be comitting to another car so it will have to go.

When I first met you you said considering how much you spent on it XXX amount wasn't worth selling it for. I know things change etc, but selling up and getting something else can be a case of the grass isn't always greener on the other-side.

Make sure having a few thousand £££'s is more important than the car you've put a boat load of energy/effort/money into before you sell.
