Had jap cars all my life including a 508 hp mkiii supra, 300zx and current car a white fto which I actually love. Not a lot I'm thinking In all honestly it detted a lot but never let me down. Used the old link g2 engine management and did a great job. I dud not have it all that long at that power as I sold it. actually owned it 7 years and bought as a non runner. They are actually tough. Guys in the states run crazy power now on the old 7mgte. Cool, I think the only real problem with that engine was that they didn't torque the head bolts tight enough resulting in head gasket failure (mine went at about 100,000 miles) I suppose if they were tightened up it would be a different story; I actually suspect that we have the 7M to thank for the 2JZ being so strong as they would have wanted to make up for it being problematic.
