On a show car that doesn't get used, blended panels do look good for a while. But if the car is "used", the joins will crack sooner rather than later, maintenance and repairs underneath become a wind-up and a double wind-up if it has been lowered and fitted with skirts and things.

Rant over. :innocent:

Pff blending/smoothing should never crack if it's been done right even if you drag the car! it should only ever crack if you get bumped or hit. Mines over a year old and has been used a decent amount and has no cracks at all in any of it!

Youll get fed up of it after a year or so...we all did. lol. If its a weekend toy and you don't mind driving 10miles an hour and slowing down for everything then you may get away with it.

It will always crack, eventually.

Fibreglass and metal expand and contract at completely different rates with heat.

I've never seen a blended car that hasn't cracked
