Injectors question, non-vvti vs vvti.

Gentlemen,

I have a question regarding injectors for my Aristo 2000 VVTI. Just been told that 2 of my injectors are leaking and need to be replaced. the term 'drop in' means I presume that the injectors simply drop in and require no resistor packs etc. simply plug and play, is that correct?

Also due to my car being a vvti, does the 2jz pre 1998 use exactly the same injectors or is it different? do I need something specific for the aristo?

Thanks guys.

Surely it's the injector seal that's perished rather than having to replace the entire injector? Or can you not replace seals separately?

i dont trust these injectors, i rather change them for peace of mind. chnaging so many parts to get a reliable setup because my car is driving me insane at the moment.

What injectors are you fitting? For a stock j-spec 2JZGTE fuel rail you'll need side feed, high impedance injectors.

Does Ibrar still have his Asnu injectors for sale ? I know they are not drop in but they seem to be a good injector and Rails arent that expensive

Need an ECU for them though.

Edit: Just saw the wanted thread. I'm guessing that you're being a little cryptic with your spec Adnan :D
