boostman
Hi, What brake pads do people recommend for an NA? There's some on importcarparts, seam oem, any good or are ebc better? Had a search but didn't come up with much! Thanks
Josh42
OEM or Chris Wilson pads are the general recommendation. I used Mintex once and they were fine but did generate a lot of dust. Just go OEM mate, not expensive and good quality
Jord
Genuine Toyota should do you fine I'd think. Chris Wilson also does his own brake pads which a lot of people recommend. Edit: Josh beat me to it
boostman
Do you get the from a toyota dealer, even though there an import part? No to these then: http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=674&cat=89&sub=1354&sec=1563&var=0&dc=&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart= Thank for the info
Benjy
Just give Toyota your chassis number. They'll be able to work out what brakes you've got.

Jord
People are going to start thinking I get commission for linking this haha: Burrows Toyota sell them online at reasonable prices. Just search for supra. http://www.burrowstoyotaparts.co.uk/import-vehicles-parts-c70.html

Graham1984
I changed all the pads a couple of years ago while ago using TCB parts. Was About £65 (I think) for genuine front and back Toyota pads (I had to have a pattern part for the front as they were out of genuine pads) http://www.tcbparts.co.uk/ I'm surprised they need doing though already. I don't need them just yet, I like to plan ahead haha, keep them in my garage until I have spare time! ;p

Personally I'd go with stock Toyota ones again from TCB (cheapest place I could find even with any discounts anywhere) It previously had some other pads on there when I bought the car that had an annoying squeal to them. Imo the Genuine ones and Chris Wilson ones would be my choices if I had the car still.
