Whifbitz lowering springs

Hi All,

I'm currently looking at the Whifbitz lowering springs as an option to get my cars ride height where I want it.

Figured this would be more cost effective than coil overs but wondered if anyone has had experience with the product?

Mainly interested in how stiff the ride is etc...

Cheers,

Nick

whifbitz springs on mine, I can't compare to standard but with 18" wheels with good tyres the ride is very smooth. It's a stiffer spring but its in no way jarring or uncomfortable, just follows countours in the roads more.

My Alfa has 18" wheels with painted-on tyres with eibach pro-kit springs, and the ride with that is pretty jumpy/crashy (an improvement over cheap TRW OEM springs though)

I'd recommend the Whifbitz springs or Eibach Pro-Kit if you'd prefer a brand name set, Eibach are the very best for springs.

Is the Eibach pro kit still available for the mkiv ?

I had them on my car and thought they were very good, they have progressive spring rates too.

There is a spring rate thread on here showing most kits that are available for the mkiv, some ratings seem way to high to me.

Contact Chris Wilson on here and he could supply you with something very similar to the Eibachs

@Dnk - thanks for the thread although I am afraid to say the details are slightly lost on me. Assuming the higher the spring rate the stiffer they are?

@cered - that pic of your car looks great!! Mine is silver as well so that really helps visualise. I think they will be money well spent!
