Rear end looser than my ex

After a bit of advice, back end on my car is very sketchy...steering is very light and a mate was following me last night and said the back end was wobbling all over the place and it looked as if I was gonna lose it, but problem is...I didn't get any feedback like that at all when driving it...and it's an open diff princess so it really shouldn't be doing that...any advice for things to check? Been told track rod ends maybe

Oh yea should say, I'm really not mechanically minded...like at all!

I've just had this on another members car. The rear toe arms were actually loose after someone had done an alignment, but as he'd already bought new arms, we replaced them.

Grab the top of the rear wheel on the inside and pull the top of the wheel towards you. If you feel any play, it's likely to be the bushes in those arms or possibly upper arms. The way to tell the difference would be jack it up and then shake the wheel. If there's no play with the wheel off the ground, my money would be on the toe arms.

Also, after a full 4 wheel alignment, he says the car drives totally different and a hundred times better, so may well be worth investing in that aswell.

I'm talking about top wish bones mate and I'd give the d/shaft hub nut a tighten

I wasnt replying to you bud ;) He had track rods in his 1st post mate, your reply is where id start 1st though my old supra had a pair of dodgy bushes on the p/s, the new one feels 100% better
