How wide is a DIN unit?

I need to make up a bracket to support my Blitz SBC ID and powermeter. Can anyone tell me how wide apart the two plates that support the stock head unit are?

I think you can use the standard £10 ish cubby box from halfrauds to mount them on. No need for any custom bracket.....unless you want to that is. I'm sure it's listed as a volvo part so, try a search on here ?

A guy at work is knocking me up a brakcet special, which will enable me to hide the wiring away, and securely mount the Blitz stuff. The only thing is making sure we get the width correct.
