TRD Clocks or Not :~

I've bought a set of TRD Clocks for my facelift TT, really wanted the tach which i'm happy with, but seeing i also have the speedo i'm mixed minds to fit it or not.

It would complete the set and the fonts would match, but the downside is when converted the 100mph it about 1/3 of the way on the gauge so most of the clock would never get used.

Bit impractical but they are so rare to i keep them all for the rarity factor

(obviously i can set the odometer to the correct amount)

If you can find the series 2 TRD Water Temp/Fuel/Boost gauge set for a reasonable price I'd be tempted to add them. Personally I like the UK spec style speedo with MPH on the outside and KM on the inside.

Why don't you sell them and get MetalMonkey to make you a TRD style set then spend the remaining cash on some other mods :)

Are you bothered about them being "true" TRD gauges? If so, then the speedo "issue" really shouldn't come into it as you won't be using the full 10K tacho, or will you? :eyebrows:

JamieP went with Metal Monkey TRD style gauges and they look spot on IMO http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?310910-Project-Goose!-SRD780S&p=3955490&viewfull=1#post3955490
