My Supra is not well......:(

Hi Guys,

Unfortunately my Supra isn't starting properly, but only sometimes

When I turn the ignition key, sometimes it doesn't even fire up or turn over, and when I does the revs go low to immediate high, then low again.

Sometimes it will work fine for a whole week, but then the odd occasion it won't fire up for a minute or so, then all of a sudden....it works fine.

I'm sorry if this doesn't make a lot of sense, but I'm as confused as hell to what it could be.

Is there anyone that has had this problem before that could help?

Can someone move this to the technical section?

If so, your starter motor contacts need refurbing.

I don't know about the revs going low then high then low. High then low sounds normal, depending on how long this takes. Are we talking 2 or 3 seconds, or less? Or a minute or two? More details please!

This is exactly what's happening to my car!
