Bonnet Pins - Security implications?

I got my flush fitting bonnet locks from here:

I specifically wanted a lockable set from a security perspective and also to stop the c/f bonnet from flapping around at speed. As they're flush fitting it also means that in the event of a pedestrian colliding with me they wouldn't get torn to shreds.

I'm pretty sure you can get lockable pins, I think my brother got some for his CF bonnet. If I remember rightly they sit flush with the bonnet too - which makes them look prettier than the normal pins in my opinion.

As SG says you will need to fit something though as I know at about 70-80 mph my brothers CF bonnet lifted enough for the "open door" light to come on - he never fitted the pins because of it being about a 3-4 hour job and is now selling bonnet because it wasn't much lighter than the stock one which fitted perfectly.
