Really? It will give the whole "bearing has gone" noise and feel? I would never have thought that. I've recently bought some standards off a mate that have only done about 50 or 60k, I'll fit those for now, but those you've posted where the standard make on my car, been looking for another set, best save some pennies once I've got 4 new tyres for my other rims :)

Cheers for that

I just had front wheel bearing done on leon could feel it through the passanger footwell but turned out to be drivers side

I was the same with the BMW. Happens all the time. Thankfully I had it up in the air to check before changing it :)

Right, done the r/h bearing, replaced both rear shocks, spun the n/S wheel (no problem there) o/s brake, either caliper or handbrake seems a little crappy, although all recently replaced, and still got the same noise and feel. So, unless the front has a dodgy bearing and it's vibrating to the back (unlikely) then I guess the hub is the answer.....

More cash I don't have right now
