Hi all

I am just wondering what is the very best way to protect the underside of your supra?

Thanks

Mine got undersealed when it came in to the UK 3 years ago then it's had all the cavitys etc wax oiled for the following 2 years..

That and it never sees rain or winter salt..

Depends on your preference. To my limited knowledge there's three ways:

- Strip the floorpan and paint/lacquer with heavy duty stuff (Mk2 escort restoration style)

- Waxoyl/underseal and cover everything in black goop

- Use technical waxes such as Bilt Hamber's underseal range that's effectively a clear film similar to waxoyl underseal but not as thick

I've used Bilt Hamber Dynax underseal on my cars, no black gunk hiding rust or concealing developing rust but there's still adequate protection against corrosion and damage. I'd personally go this route on a car like a Supra. (Imagine trying to buy a supra that has 1cm of black waxoyl covering the bottom of it, would you trust that it's cleaned or just had the stuff sprayed over it?)
