This might be a daft question (I've asked my fair share) but I was wondering if there is a way you can wire up a DVD player or even a hard drive to play films, episodes etc on a double din headunit? I've seen it done before but I'm not much good when it comes to electrics - if it helps I have a Pioneer SPH-DA110 :) cheers guys

Should be pretty easy to do. Get a little hard drive (or a USB flash drive) & hook it up to the USB output, It should show up into your radio as normal external media. Then select the video file & it should work. Now i'm not to sure what format the files should be in in order to play them, i'll take a look tomorrow if no one hasen't found the answer tomorrow

That headunit is designed to be used with your mobile, but I guess it's pretty straight forward to use with a HDD too. Get yourself a portable 2.5" drive, fill it with stuff, plug it in and give it a go.

I recently got this headunit and I plan to install ARUnchained onto my phone so that I can use anything, netflix included :)

If you mirror your phone, you can play just about anything you like through the screen.
