Complete TT engine kit prices ? (inclusive turbos and loom/ecu)

Hi everybody,

before posting a post on the wanted section, I would like to know if my +-2500€ budget is enough for a 2JZ-GTE (non-VVTI ) with both turbos, loom/ecu ?

The whole kit must be in a fair condition, no play on the turbos and no signs of burned oil in the engine...

I'll for sure disassemble the entire engine during this year so it can have run some miles by the moment it has been well cared !

If you think I'm not rich enough for what I want, wich price aera do I have to reach ?

Are people here on the forum who are specialized in resseling these parts ?

Thanks for reading !

Jérémy.

No it's not.

Non VVTI engines go for a nice premium over VVTI variants

A quick Ebay search shows a £2k difference!

I've never seen a 2k difference between non vvti and vvti. But no doubt you will manage it on your budget mate

VVTi Supra engines if anything are matched or exceed that of the non VVTi variant, in price.

People see the Aristo VVTi which is also a 2jz-GTE and think that the Supra VVTi is automatically the same price.

There are a number of changes that are required to run the aristo lump in a Sup, so factoring that into the conversion, should be considered.

£2500-£3000 seems the going rate these days for 2JZ-GTE.

As I said it was only a quick search on Ebay. :)
