Engine bay makeover complete

When my final metre of 8mm arrives I'll finish off the the vacuum hose to the brake servo.

I got a full set of red silicone hoses as a pressie ages ago, but came from china and the one that should be on the left doesn't fit (might order another set from a better source (can't seen to find anywhere that sells them individually) or I might not bother as considering going single next year with would mean front mount intercooler and new pipework anyway.

I'm currently resisting my OCD need to change the battery to a black and red one tho..................

For the vacuum hose I went on ebay and brought 1-ply silicone hose. I actually got the first batch last year to replace perished water hoses. As it's a reinforced ply it's thicker and better quality than cheap silicone hoses, overkill for vacuum hoses but gives a quality feel and look.

It all came from ASH (Auto Silicone Hoses) via their ebay site. They sell it in 1 or 3 metre lengths. I used 3 metres of 3mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm and 1 metre of 10mm and 20mm. I actually need about 15cm of 12mm but not sure I can justify buying a metre of it just for 15mm
