Refurbing Number Plate Pods

When I bought mine, they were silver, I thought it would be an easy quick job to sand back etc. it was a pain!

But, after getting them smoooooth, I under coated and sprayed gloss black, much better than the stock Matt plastic look imo.

Are they coated like the dash in that rubbery stuff?

I have a sand blaster at work I could use to 'prepare them '

I don't believe so. However I was standing away old paint, so if it was I'd probably not see it. But I sure it's just plain plastic.

I spent much longer than needed sanding with ultra fine s.paper, so that my final black gloss needed less, although I still went ott on that.

Never used a sand blaster before, but be careful it doesn't blast the plastic rough [emoji15]
