Type R seats

Hi

I've fitted some civic type R seats in the supra over weekend. they sit just over an inch higher than the supra seats. Has anyone else that's got these, got them to sit any lower. It's not a big problem as I'm 5'10". It just feels a bit odd. Will probably be something I will get used to. Just thought I would ask to see if there is an easy way to lower them more.

I have just fitted the seat rail feat from the supra to the civic rails

Why on earth have you put type r seats in a supra? That's like people who put Bentley wheels on golfs.

The seats can be retrimmed and serve the purpose of being comfy and sporty feeling. Bentley wheels on a Golf, no matter the colour, serve the purpose of pointing out the moron behind the wheel. :D

I sold my rails. I would highly recommend them though, very well made. Sadly incompatible with my Recaros.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have a quick question Jay I recently bought from Matt RR his recaro speeds and already have Johns rails, do you know if these will fit? If they don't then I'll have a set of rails for sale.

Nice seats but as mentioned you should really get rid of the Type R logo, it looks out of place on a Supra (obviously)

It is on the to do list. But wanted to make sure I like the seats before paying anything out on them. The logos have been blacked out but the camra makes them stand out a lot more than in real life.
