Ok,... What do you all recommend to play as your 1st track to test your newly installed system.
Lets face it,... this is the exciting bit of installing your 'ICE' so you'll need to get it right!
and before anyone says "yes, you do need to let your subs bed in before you hear its optimum performance" so lets pretend the subs have run in ;)
My tracks would be:
Eminem - Without Me
Orbital - Funny Break
Phil Collins - Sussudio
Prodigy - Spitfire
Madonna - Music
Which album is "Without me" from? I never look at track names :D
No idea on the Phil Collins one (saddo) and not a huge Madonna fan but still a good selection...
Not sure on exact tracks but prodigy, metallica, errrr dunno actually I'v got a song stuck in my head and I can't think past it :D

I'd go with:
Linkin' Park - Numb
Blink 182 - Stockholm Syndrome
The Chemical Brothers - Galvanise
Guns n Roses - November Rain
Coldplay (Live) - Moses
Train (Live) - When I look to the Sky
Ice Cube - You can do it.
I'd go with:
Coldplay (Live) - Moses
:twak:
I'd go for anything from the LFO : LFO albulm that'll really test those sub's
I'm not sure which it is, but one of the tracks is known as a bass bin killer.

For setting up purposes this is a good track, but you would actually need a soop to understand that. :music: :baa:
:p
Marilyn Manson - This is the new shit
:D
LOL I can not stand anything by them...or Travis...or are they the same band? Maybe they just sound the same :p ;)
I would recommened chemical brothers hey boy hey girl or orbital halcyon on & on, well these are the songs I'd play if all my speakers all worked and that I didnt have the standard toyota cd player and speakers!

Without Me is track 10 from The Eminem Show.
Phil Collins: Couldn't stand him or his music, then on day after watching American Psycho I started to enjoy his grove
Madonna: only said 'Music' because its recommend due to high range of midbass and will test how low your bass will go!

I asked "what you'd play first"! Not... DO if the system didn't work!
:banghead:
LOL!!! Another great prodigy track. Gona try and find the single and test that one :music:
My first track was R Kelly - "Did you ever". Lovely bass line  Then it was Groove Armada - "Superstylin" Mahoosive bass on this song!

LOL, ahhh so thats what you do to the missus when you cant get thing working :p
Purely as a bass test, I know Madonna - Music is good, but a clear winner for any set up is The Trick by The Prodigy. It's on the Breathe single, but I'm sure you can download the MP3. Even if you don't test it in the car - download it anyway and appreciate the bass. :D
Quite a few Prodigy tracks in the recommendations I see.

No not MC Hammer; Challenge anybody to find a better track to test mid range bass than LL Cool J - My Radio (sorry you kids out there it's an 80's track of his!!).
AALIYAH- Try again & can't forget Herbie Handcock - Rockit!!
I'd play Mylo - Drop the Pressure.

1st track - Pink noise on repeat for about 2 hours at a medium listening level.
2nd track, something from the 80's you can sing along to... Cause I'm old... And they didn't swear as much in those days :D :innocent:
metallica - enter sandman
