Won't start No spark

Sorry guys another boring thread!!

Iv tried as much as I know to figure out why the car won't start but I'm still clueless.

At first it would just cut out, no misfire or warnings just instantly die. It stores code 14 but would start again after a ecu reset but it would only last for a mile or 2 before the same happens.

Now it won't even fire!

Cranks over just fine, and inbetween cutting out it would drive as if nothing was wrong, no misfires.

So far iv checked for spark - no spark - changed plugs - still the same

Changed ignition leads - still the same

Inspected dizzy cap - looks ok, rotor arm is almost new

Changed coil - still nothing ( I wouldn't mind testing this if someone knows how)

Changed igniter - still nothing

Changed coolant sensor - still nothing

Removed patch extension for the e-manage ultimate to test for any shorts - found nothing

Checked the voltage on the blue and orange wire going to the map sensor, tps, ecu found 4.9v

Checked the brown earths - ok

Tested the IGF wire from ecu to igniter - 4.9v

Any help please, cars a 2jzge na-t I had a similar issue maybe 6 months ago where it would idle VERY low then die which a replacement ecu seemed to fix the problem.

When I said I inspected the distributor cap I obviously didn't check it well enough!!

I had my old dizzy cap after changing it to the 4 runner one so thought what the hell iv tried everything else, upon removing the lead going from the coil to the cap I soon realised it was welded in there!
