OK, for the heat change mug we need to have a picture of a supra BUT it needs to be like the calendar ones as in scenic rather than a cut out of a Supra.
So here's your chance to get your car famous again :D
Please submit photos here and I'll shortlist the best and put them up for a vote.
Deadline for pics is 1st Feb 16.00
Any conditions about size, type, resolution, dpi etc etc?
I'd guess they need to be a good resolution but as they're going onto a mug they'll be pretty small. I'll find out... tempted to use tanhaussers as his should have been in the calendar but lucked out
In the end it would have to fit about a 257mm wide by 86mm high space preferably at 300dpi :D

Only if we pay set up charges for each design, plus theres a minimum order for each design so I doubt we'd shift them.
I may well do colour change mugs now and then a simpler design at another time.

How about a front shot of a nice supra and when the mug gets hot the picture changes to the same car but with no bonnet?

I'll double check but I don't think so. That would mean layering 2 pics the same I guess. Plus it'd have to be something more drastic that that as thats almost an un-noticable difference :D

The answer is no you can't.
Chris- it's been recommended by the supplier that we don't use a cut out of the car but a whole picture- like the one from the calendar, hense why I've asked for that kinda pic.

Because most mugs don't have a pic that appears? or rather a layer that disappears? You can do it but it'll look a bit weak- the whole mug changing colour to reveal only one area of picture, don't you think? I don't mind, it's up to you lot at the end of the day.

In a word - yes! You are never going to please everyone and if you allow people to have a lot of input then it will turn into a nightmare.
Set the rules: 1. No cut outs 2. XXX 3. Etc etc then stick to them. Then set a cut off date for members to submit pics. Then put that to a vote. Then get them made.

CJ- Well, I kinda presume that everyone realises that I've been researching this stuff in advance and therefore would perhaps just submit pics as asked etc instead of questioning every step of the process :D
Seriously though, I don't want to make it sound too harsh and with this number of people someone could come up with a stunning idea that I hadn't thought of or found during research etc.

Rosie, I faintly recall you did a vote, and it was the picture fade mug that won, so yes girl you should be harsh that was the type of mug that got the vote and you should stand by it.
If people now want other types they can wait until the next merchandise vote.:p
I agree it would rather weak/lame having just a car, much more effective with a changing picture. You have a large size mug to fill and a car on it's own won't do it. I know where you're coming from WSB, but those glasses and mugs tend to be narrow and or have writing on them.
