Wiring questions.

Does this wiring diagram look about right for general wiring of bits?

I'm not sure of what outputs my stereo has anyway, but am trying to sort out an install and need to know which wires to leave hanging out the sides and where those wires should lead!

That all looks like standard wiring, but I'm not exactly sure what you mean by wires hanging out of the edge?? If you are gonna be using RCA leads to the amps from the head unit, then you will not need to connect the speaker cables.

Why? I'll need leads from head unit to the amps, then cable from the amps to the speakers surely? The speakers aren't telepathic!! :p (I think I know what you mean but not sure).

I meant I'm making a shelf for the rear seat replacement, to fit the sub and amps in, so I'll be putting in the wiring behind it, but won't be wiring up to the HU straight away, so I'll need to have the leads 'hanging out' by the transmission tunnel somewhere. And I'll need to know where those leads go to; i.e.: which speakers/amps they are connected to.
