Big Mark Posted February 11, 2015 Share Posted February 11, 2015 Planning on tarting up some parts under the bonnet. I've already painted a spare set of turbo inlet pipes and the inlet manifold in High Temp Satin Black paint and will paint the existing Turbo heat shield, cam covers and throttle body when I get them off. Anyone know how easy/awkward all these parts will be to remove and refit? Any problem areas or parts that I should buy in advance? Already ordered a gasket for inlet manifold, got the large cam cover gaskets and got some spare hoses. Will get some cam cover bolt washer/gaskets. supra_ufo Posted February 11, 2015 Share Posted February 11, 2015 I managed to take the turbo pipes off but struggled with the one at the back of the engine going into the 2nd turbo, I ended up doing it from under the car but it can be done from the top.
