Polishing up a Blitz NUR Spec R

Get the exhaust off the car mate. Will be far easier and take less time.

When I did mine I used my buffing wheel and polishing kit.

If doing by hand I'd suggest starting with a wet and dry 2000/1500 grit to remove the dirt and tar contaminants.

Cheers for the replies guys, I can see a busy weekend of cleaning and polishing when I get the car back before DB15!

Marcus, it's been at GI Motorsport since end of Oct. not heard anything from them yet, but it's due an MOT in April once all the work is done so fingers crossed it will be all set to go for April / May time.

(Might just drop GI a message to confirm lol, also got a few other things I'm looking at doing to the car before summer - coilovers, gauges and mounting pod and UK spec brakes)

Cool, hopefully I'll get to see it in the summer months for a few blasts up the west coast

What's involved with the work being done then?

Yeah for sure, I'd be up for that!

It's getting full BPU including :

Bosch fuel pump

Cold grade spark plugs

1st and 2nd 3" decats

HKS fuel cut defender

Turbosmart boost controller @ 1.2 bar

Whifbitz FMIC

Whifbitz alloy radiator

Whifbitz Alloy radiator hose

Whifbitz silicone turbo link pipes

SRD auto box oil cooler kit

Racogic Traction Control Unit

It's also getting a partial respray on 4 sections of the car that I wasn't happy with.

Just a few things haha :)
