Another Home Wheel Re-Furb

Well managed to curb my wheel again (becoming a yearly thing now lol)

So with all the previous practice thought I'd show you how I got on.

 

Total amount of time was about 4 hrs. All done by hand. These were massive marks..

Thats the hard part done with the dents and scratches removed as best as I could.

And the Finshed product. It will take a few washes and polish's before it comes out really good again.

What's cork block? I've for a habit of curbing too so wish I could I learn!

1st time I did it I just gave it a go. Worst thing that can happen is you need to pay some one to refurb your wheel anyway lol

 

Wheel has to come off though

I used a very coarse sand paper with a cork block and a few hours of elbow grease...

 

Then to get rid of the sand paper marks start with 240 grit wet and dry then 800, 1500, 2500 then meguiar's metal polish. I usually use 400 grit also but I had run out.
