Apexi neo safc and BPU?

I wouldn't recommend just trimming the fuelling as the timing will also need tweaking, and AFAIK the neo can only use MAP or AFM voltage to achieve global fuelling adjustment so timing will also be affected, I would also presume that you would carry out any fuelling adjustments without the aid of a wide-band lambda setup?

This is good advice.

I sold both the safc2 and MAPECU piggybacks I had been playing with on my bpu and went with the ECU master DET3 piggy back that provides timing skew and a whole load of other features like data logging, launch etc, I have mine programmed to run my IC spray as well.

When mine was mapped by Lyndon he needed to tweak the timing as well as the fuel and the proof was in the pudding so to speak. First time out I was in the 12s where as I had been stuck in the 13s for an age and just couldn't get better than 13.05 Now most of my runs are in the 12s and the car just feels so much better.

OK it doesn't have a display like the neo, but you can hook it up to your laptop and that tells you so much more. Mine was mapped with a wideband though. These things cost less than a new neo and do so much more. The SAFCs are just that really, whereas the ECU master and Greddy piggybacks offer loads more features.
