Hello all

A job I've put off for long enough and now I'd like to get it done....

My steering wheel is the ugly 4 spoke and I need a replacement.....

Mine has cruise control....

Has anybody done this and who could guide me on what to do please

I've seen a few nice wheels ....the one with the supra logo and a carbon fibre one.....

Many thanks

There's a guide to removing the 3 spoke facelift wheel on my build thread (see the link below). The carbon OEM wheel is based on this wheel, so it's the same method.

Can't help with the 4 spoke wheel, but it shouldn't be hard to find info on removing it.remember to disconnect the battery for 10 mins prior to removing the wheel. :)

All I know about it as u say remove battery and when u unwind the bolt under horn not to remove it all way and pull wheel towards u to release it.....the bolt still in place stops it from hitting u in nose.....

It's where cruise thing that baffles me....I don't want to lose it....will I need a new boss if for instance I used a mr2 or celiac wheel?

No, the MR2 and Celica wheels fit straight on. There are guides on the Internet to retrofitting the Toyota cruise stalk to other steering wheels :)

IF you have thoroughly searched the forum, and can't find an answer, it would be hhelpful if you can do a 'how to', so that ther members don't have the same problem as you :)
