Guest jj0201
Hi Guys, I'm having to replace/change clutch and flywheel, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Currently running 670BHP & 525 ft/lbs Gearbox V160 Car will not be on any track days / drag, will be used for street use. Thanks, J
Chris Wilson
Twin plate Giken will be a nice choice. No judder, all spares available, top, TOP quality. You need to get the movement reversal kit with the clutch kit, to convert the existing pull type mechanism to push type. The clutch comes with a billet steel flywheel. You need shorter flywheel bolts, Giken can supply. Caveat. I sell Giken products, but I am not biased, I even use them on my own cars. Guest jj0201
Hi Chris, Thanks for your advice. what kind of price will the twin plate Giken be?
Chris Wilson
About £12/1300 plus VAT, would need to get a price depending on spec of kit. Aluminium cover plate, steel cover plate, torque handling, blah blah. They are probably the best clutch in the marketplace for high torque road usage, outside the heady prices of AP and Sachs.
