Bayside blue aerotop painted lip or unpainted?

Hi everyone

The work on my bayside blue TT6 aeroptop starts soon. This is what it looks like now.

The plan is to spray the bonnet blue and then put a standard front bumper on with an RMM front lip like this...

Everything is set but the only thing I cannot make my mind up on is whether to paint the front lip or leave it black.

Personally I am 90% going to continue with my original plan and have it painted blue. However I am sure an arguement is there to leave it black to match the wheels.

Opinions would be much appreciated. I want an OEM look with subtle additions which is why I am leaning towards spraying it blue. I know its personal preference but you guys have seen a lot more Supras than I have so may know what looks best.

What do we all think?

I like both to be honest. What you could do is leave it black and see how you like it and then think of it being blue and take it from there or photo shop it or look on google

I would say blue, It will follow the colour of your side skirts then as it will be the same height/line.

if your painting the bonnet blue then id say go blue aswell, if the bonnet was staying black then id of edged towards leaving it black but my vote is blue very nice looking car btw looking forward to seeing pics of it after

Thanks for all the replies. Majority says paint it blue. So I will stick to my original plan and paint it.

Does look good in black but I think the lack of side skirts makes a big difference on those cars. Hopefully the side skirts will be at the same level as the lip. Anyone got a pic of a blue one with the lip and skirts?
