KIlometres to miles

Hi , i need some help with my speed dials, they are in kmph so i wanted to change them to miles, so does anyine know the best place to get them from and what other technical difficulty's i may face while changing them

Speak to Paul E about some El-Glo dials (very nice - about £130 with a converter that changes the glow from blue to green). Easy to fit!

Failing that, you could always put sticky dots where the obvious mph speeds are over your Km/h dials as a quick fix:

48Km/h = 30mph

64Km/h = 40mph

80Km/h = 50mph

112Km/h = 70mph

I'm not prepared to covert the rest over 70mph as I don't - 160Km/h - condone - 100mph - speeding!

Hope it helps you in the meantime.

Gaz

hi thanks everyone for the help , but is there any other way around in changing the reading apart from opening the dash because i do not want to open it myself because might not fit it back properly . i have just accidently took off the silver round ring off the speedometre, so do i just get another dial just reading MPH and stick it over it , would that be better ??? ty

Hi,,hadyn i want to do something amon those lines as in sticking a MPH dial over the KMP, where did u get hold of the MPH dial ?? ty

it came with the car when i bought it, gauge goes up to 110mph, but the needle goes off the clock and the car keeps pulling :)

Have a chat to torque imports http://www.torque-imports.co.uk to see if they know where the dial came from?
