ripped_fear Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Ok so all my brake calipers but one, have been replaced in my ownership, the one that has not was cleaned up by a local garage a couple of years ago. (it binded on and they freed it off.) Now recently I have noticed excess brake dust and heat from the side that has not been replaced, it also decides to squeak after 30 mins of diving or so. I immediately thought it was binding so jacked the car up and the wheels move freely? Now my question is could it be the caliper sticking but only after some use? or handbrake shoes, but I'm guessing if its the shoes i would not be seeing more than average brake dust. I would just take it to a garage and ask them to diagnose it, but I'm on a tight time schedule for a show so was going to just order the bits and put it straight in for the work.
