i have mounted my 2 amps in the spare wheel area, under the floor but i had to remove the cover for the fuel pump. it just occured to me that the amps might get hot............do you think this might be unwise?

What air flow have you got around the amps to cool them? Is it covered by carpet or anything or is it just open to the air? (not sure which is worst the fuel tank being exposed to the air or the amps getting VERY hot because of only having fuel fumes as cooling!!).

one amp has built in fans, i have a separate fan for the other. i am going to build in perspex windows with "supra" cut into them. how about if i put the cover back then mdf over the top to raise the floor a bit?
