supra_24 Posted October 11, 2014 Share Posted October 11, 2014 Hey guys, Was considering purchasing a front strut brace, but after reading was wondering whether there would be enough clearance for closing the bonnet? I have the standard supra mk4 bonnet, but wanted to make sure if I put the strut on, would it be quite close to the bonnet or be hard to close? And in terms of brakes and geometry, all been done. Brakes uprated all around. This car has had pretty much everything done to it over the past months lol. If you like bling, fit one, if you want to improve the handling spend on good tyres, correct rims, if none stock, and keeping the bushes and dampers top notch. A strut brace *CAN*, of course, stiffen things, but they need to be triangulated, large diameter, and unlike anything I have ever seen available commercially. In at least 70% of cases where I drive modified road cars they handle worse than stock, sometimes almost dangerously so. To improve is hard, to worsen, so *SO* easy!"
