Hello, I have bought some white glo dials to go in the dash of my supra (the ones with the switch that makes them go either red or blue) and been looking through the fitting instructions and it says about picking up power from a source thats only on when the lights are on (which makes sense) but was just wondering for anyone who has fitted these what they joined into to pick up the power from for what/where is the easiest to access and get to.

I have searched for a previous thread that might cover this but couldnt find any so if there is then if someone could give me a link to the thread then that would be great thanks :)

I have fitted the dials into the original dials but just looking to put them back in the car tonight so wondering what power source to pick up on.

Thanks :)

Hi mate.

My El Glo dials are soldered into the power for the speedo cluster itself.

I removed a bulb, and tapped into that power.

Works a treat

There is a thread on here from a few years back when suprasteveo did a group buy, with fitting instructions.

I have fitted the dials and soldered the wires for the power to where the 1 bulb came from but just noticed there is a bulb missing (location shown in pic below) I was just wondering what warning lights this bulb would be for as I could nick one of the bulbs iv taken out from behind the main dials now and remove the green outer off it to use if it needs it as I don't need these bulbs with the new dials?

I think I took mine from the dimmer iirc, my eglos are also dimable now :p

His will be dimable too where he has soldered the wires too.

I can dim mine from the stock dimmer and the El Glo dimmer switch too

Ahh yeah didnt even think about that but yeah il be able to dim them from the stock dimmer and the aftermarket one too :)
