Had my TT about 3 months now and very pleased I am to ;0)

I recently purchased some neon's to go underneath and I was just wondering if any one could offer some advice as where the best place would be to mount them so I get the full effect!

I've got a metallic green TT with a full veilside kit so I bought green neon's. Now the front and sides I think will be ok but it's just the rear? What I don’t want is any of the neon's showing and Im having a real prob trying to decide on the best place to mount it!!

If any one could offer some advice I would really appreciate it.

Cheers

I've got a set of red led (santa lights as Ian C called them)...

And apart from the front one, they are fairly subtle and give a nice effect...

The back one is screwed just undernearth the bumper, tucked into the tow hook in one place....

I had neons. I had 2 tubes break. Total ball-ache from the fitting of the bloody things to getting them ripped out! A real puta!

Go for LED Varads. Problem with neon tubing - is that it doesn't take much punishment and it's easily broken.

Varads are stronger & alot brighter. My neighbour has them on his MR2 mk1 -they're more expensive .. but you get alot more for your money.

Ah who cars, if it feels good - DO IT !

Are they actually illegal to use on the road ? I thought they were illegal because they are a distraction, but a friend of mine was talking to a policeman who said that as far as he knew, if they were declared on the insurance, then they were legal to use.

Oh, and I'll take pics of mine and post for ya ;)
