bignum
VLN= plenty of rubber put down on the track= be extra careful if it rains when you go out on track it`ll be super slippy, Just take your time and build speed gradually , have you been to the ring before or on any other circuits in a car? gordy.r
There is every temptation to floor it the minute you go through the barrier and navigate the cones... Like others have said and like you yourself have mentioned, take it easy, it is a very dangerous track, the road surface can be very slippy and if you're running standard brakes be aware of brake fade and shudder on your first lap (you'll be using the brakes a lot lol). But yeah, enjoy it and get yourself into the museum and the Go-Karts and there are some cracking track side viewing points just outside Adenau which let you stand at the barrier to watch the action! The main problem was the A/T it is pretty cool for cruising but is pretty bad on the track, It's uncontrollable... The feeling I had was that I didn't had the power when I was needed it... I also did a couple of mistakes and took wrong lines , but I haven't been on a track since 2009 https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/t1.0-9/10352137_10152227405010588_2675044705736128025_n.jpg Next time I will be at least with a proper gearbox fitted in... If using manual mode you don't have kick down, I've only really ever needed 2nd and 3rd gear when using manual mode on the auto box, and you also get a bit of engine braking as well. It's no DSG box, but it's still quite good if your not afraid to use (abuse) it.
